Mozilla Ventures – Convening Report

Communicating the future of open-source AI

Mozilla Ventures brought together more than 30 founders, researchers and investors from across the global open-source AI community to explore some of the field’s most important questions, including privacy, governance, safety, context-aware AI, deepfakes, African innovation and the future of responsible AI.

The challenge was to transform a large volume of discussions, interviews and research into a publication that people would genuinely want to read. The report needed to communicate complex ideas with clarity while remaining engaging, accessible and consistent with Mozilla’s visual identity.

Working closely with the project team, I designed a publication that balanced editorial structure, visual hierarchy and custom illustration to guide readers through a wide range of technical topics. The layout was built to support long-form reading, make complex information easier to navigate and create a coherent visual narrative across the entire document.

The result is a publication that helps Mozilla Ventures share the insights from the convening with founders, investors, researchers and the wider AI community in a format that is clear, credible and engaging.
